Active Duty Service Members

Service Connected Disability

You are on duty 24/7, 365 days per year. Service Connected means the disability was a result of disease or injury incurred or aggravated during active military service. To be eligible for disability compensation, the veteran’s discharged must be under conditions other than dishonorable, and the disability must not be the result of willful misconduct by the veteran/service member.

Documenting Your Disease or Injury

The best type of documentation is your MEDICAL RECORD. MAX4VETS® can assist you in identifying claimable injuries or illnesses as referenced in CFR Title 38 Part 4. MAX4VETS® also helps you build and maintain a related database.

Preparing to Exit the Service

Your Final Physical Examination is the last chance to ensure that ALL injuries and illnesses are discussed and documented by a service provider.
